Gabe asked where I’m going to school, and I will tell you. However, I wanted to know how well-known the campus is, in Canadian Catholic circles. So, here are some photos of different places. Look carefully, and place your bets!

Above you see the science building. Today, the arches were nice because the weather was not. Walking under the roof kept the rain off me for a while longer.

Here we have a shot of the face of the library. A semi-circle of square pillars.

And here, the fieldhouse, complete with bell tower. Did I mention that this place is eclectic?

Yet another building on campus – this time of the flat, square brick type. Not content with that, though, they placed a faux-Egyptian man striding across the upper story. (Not to mislead you, though. He’s actually not Egyptian. I just think he looks that way.)

A hall with a double identity. Is it Egan, or is it Stafford?
Any guesses? I think you already know it’s in Ohio.
I’m not allowed to vote: I already know. I’m also from Ohio. :)

Franciscan University at Steubenville? That’s the only Catholic school I know in Ohio.

Right on. It’s not exactly where I thought I would be, but I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the education. At the very least, the MA philosophy and theology programs seem to be academically challenging so far. I’ll keep you guys updated!

I’m so jealous! Say hi to Scott Hahn for me, mkay? :-)

Thanks! Well, being in philosophy rather than theology, I don’t know if I’ll see Scott Hahn again for a while…
I did get the chance to talk with him and his wife (a little) at the ‘grad students meet your professors’ event!
