It’s time for me to admit something really important to all my beloved readers.
I can’t run the Alexandrian on my own.
So far, for this next issue, we have received one submission: a poem.
I’ll do the usual painting-and-other-submission, probably a philosophical essay, and M. Reyes will submit some poetry (ask me how I know), but this isn’t going to make it!
So, really, I’ve asked the Facebook group last time around, and they came up with just enough submissions for the summer issue; I’m giving you blog-readers the next chance. Please, if you are not a spam-bot, consider submitting some of your work for the fall issue of the Alexandrian!
And please, let me know if there’s anything particular that I can do to make it easier for people to submit. A lot of people promise, and few deliver. Are the themes too specific? Please suggest new themes, or suggest that we drop the themes altogether. Is the website screwy? Please tell me how to make it better. Is Canada just not ready for this?
Please help me…
I could help, but are 38 year olds “youth”?

Thanks, Warren!
We actually accept work from non-youth and non-Canadians – it’s really only the organization and editing done from a “youth” perspective, and that because I obviously haven’t the experience to do this on a more professional level.
So please, if you want to help, I would be so thankful!

Hi, Catherine,
I really like the “Work” theme for the Fall issue: I will get myself in gear to write an article! :)
Thanks for all the labor (labour?) you have put into the endeavor that is the Alexandrian.
God bless,
Lauren
